What listeners wrote about my music:

(Domani)"Very beautiful melodic stuff goes around in this track...this is somewhat symphonic ambient stuff...I love the chopin style rythm of piano...its simply beautiful, the entire thing goes well with the consistent drumming. all I can say is, this is a beautiful song, it has a kinda nostalgic feel to it." (AbandonedPsyche from Morris Plains, New Jersey)

(Butterfly)"This is intelligent and first rate composing! Great sense of chord structure, rhythmic as well as melodic ... but not your run of the mill melodic. This is innovative and creative. The melody never becomes ordinary or really predictable. Simply enkoyable and charming to listen to!
This is an exceptional piece. Quite exceptional. Expressive and inspiringly creative. This is a real work by a real craftsman.
I can only applaud as loud as I can at this truly marvelous offering! BRAVO! I can't wait to see who did this! I'm a fan!
All the very best of luck with it!"
  (
LuiGentile from Eitorf-Bach, Germany)

(Message from Earth)"Right from the intro i knew this was going to be something special, but my god, this is probably one of the best songs I've heard on here in a while. Arrangement is flawless, nice use of the synths, and the guitar sets such an amazing mood. The production on this song is incredible too. Tying the intro of the scattered electronic sounds, into the outro was a nice touch too! Keep up the amazing work!" (FallingThrough from Oviedo, Florida)

(Souvenir of China)"You artist drive me nuts! How did you write such a beautiful, creative piece? I can barely write my name correctly! There's so much feeling and personal emotion emanating from this, it's really quite impressive.
It's also really quite short. That's why I can only imagine it as a blurb on a soundtrack for a movie.
Fleshing it out more might help make it longer but you would be in jeopardy of diluting the 'feel'. Tough call there.
Either way, I look forward to hearing this soon on a soundtrack coming to a theater near you!"                             (
Fuzznihon from Smalltown, Japan)

(Eclipse) "I like the sounds involved in this intro... wind, synthetic wind chimes... Very ethno-atmospheric and generally lovable.
Sound, Synth & production: I absolutely love the synth sound, almost a modern moog (beloved Bob Moog, looks the wonder you created in the hands of the ones who appreciated your job and the wonders they are creating). Very appropriate and atmospheric, I absolutely love it. I also love the indian Sitar (or is it a Sarod, or a Santoor?) in the back lines. Professionally built and mixed, a very high standard job!
Mood: sexy as a futuristic lap-dance, very relaxed and chillout intended, is a top-quality track.
Piano: the piano part is a masterpiece. interesting, well played and just perfect inside this track.
Arrangement: what I can say about this arrangement out of "just perfect"? I love it! This artist mixes sounds from east to west, from 70s (re-modernated) to contemporary to build something exceptional.
Who you sounds like: some of Mike Oldfield prods, Siddharta or the "New York Chillout" artists, but mostly cause of the musical genre, you just sound like yourself. This track is ready to appear in a Café del Mar or Buddha Bar compilation...
Overall: this is a 5, of course! Extras for production and keyboards...
And if this one is not a coolest chillout track, who would ever be?" (
G
uthorm from Torino, To, Italy)

(Eclipse)"Truely a piece to be proud of, full of expression, range and depth. Awesome effort. Keep making music for the sake of humanity." (MitchellThomas from Petaluma, California )

(Le voyage dans la Lune)"Relaxing intro pads draw me in nicely...This track evolves very well with each element contributing superbly...U ask about the Arrangement...Well, there UR...5 Stars...This is something that is an issue in SO many GB trax...But is shines here...
Small tech issue: the gunshot or Thunder soundz in the intro R Over-recorded causing distortion & clipping...This detail takes away the sheer perfection of the soundscape...
This i mention only as advice in the search 2 make it perfect! Love the drums & kinda chugging Euro bass...The piano Melody is KILLER, Both catchy & memorable..ZOWEE! Definitively an ASTRANOVA sound!
Here we have someone taking control of the Arrangement...Allowing surprise stops(3min), cut-bax, and even a crazy vocal that soundz like it was recorded on the MOON! Funky Jeff Lorber kinda lead after 3min makes me smile...I dig it TOTALLY...Let's promote it, pls contact me!" (
SCOTT_HILL from London, England, United Kingdom)

(Europa) This starts off so soft and ambient, it's just what I needed, after some loud music. Very tender touching piano playing. You always have a most focused playing. Your music to me is well thought through. Like the jazzy percussion and bass. As for here the nice smooth synth swaying in the background is wonderful for the atmosphere. The guitar -most tasteful, and inviting bass solo, just all arranged so smoothly. You have a very good tempo change with violin sounds and there is when the piano gets a bit more movin' and expresses a different mood.
Nice percussive subtle sounds. A nice way to end it off in a spacey fade.   Great artistry Corrado.
Worth many listens to me. Into my faves it stays. Excellent piece. (Vesa, Thunder Bay, Canada)

(Where) I'm wrapped in candlelight, the flame flickering and casting shadows around the room. I'm melancholy for sure. I've felt more than one lump in my throat over the past few hours. My eyes are moist, close to tears. Old Rascal may make it through the night, and he may not. I'm doing all I can to keep him warm and comfortable as I watch him slip slowly away from me. When he looks up at me, his eyes are soft, warm and deep, questioning perhaps what is happening. He is such a trooper, and a fighter the way he has been hanging on for several days now. I painfully try to judge if and when I should make the call to bring this to an end for him. God only knows how much I will miss him. We are not strong when it comes to losing someone or something that we love so much. Tonight I am introspective, my thoughts inner directed, searching for answers. Why, what, when and how ... and where do we go when we go from here. Surely there must be more to all of this than just living and dying. I needed some very special music to comfort my thoughts as I pine away the night vigilantly with Rascal. This is where Corrado Rossi came to my rescue, no pun intended. Appropriately his song is called "Where". Fittingly, and suiting the night, it is a solo - an absolutely beautiful and engaging piano solo from one very gifted and talented artist. The song plays over and over, a crescendo of sound rising and falling, filling the empty spaces surrounding me, making the night and my time with Rascal seem longer than it might otherwise be, seducing my mind into believing that perhaps it might be endless. And yet, I know better. Still, Corrado does this with such a gentle ease and beauty that I'm almost compelled to believe there may be a reprieve instead of a requiem. Prayer floats through my mind. I have resolved for this night that the 'where' is right here, right now. Thank you so very much Corrado for giving this night and this beauty to us. And welcome to Legendary Music II

(Closing credits) Corrado Rossi has given us an incredible composition here with Closing Credits. There is something profound about these type of orchestrations, there are no words of course as this song speaks to us from the heart and soul of the composer who shares with us his inner most feelings and places them in the various instruments to sing to us. The expressive qualities of this song should have your spirit soaring and uplift your inner most being and inspire you as you experience and appreciate the amazing depth of this composition as well as all the tonal shapes and colours (Bryon Tosoff, USA)

In a word... fantastico! (Roy Muniz, USA)

This is a wonderfully balanced piece of music. Probably just as important here,it has a strong melodic content, which follows you long after the Closing Credits,if you can excuse the pun.I am sure, with enough exposure, we could have another John Williams here.Great music. (336, UK)

This fine, fragile tune, which turns to symphonic majesty, was my favorite music for last Christmas. And for Minouche and for certain Friends of ours too. Maybe this year will give us more reasons to hope for a better world than the years before. In that case I would love to choose this piece as part of the soundtrack for such a world. (Pascal, Germany)

Ah, it's been too long since I heard the magnificent talents of Corrado. Magnificent composition. Beautiful touch on the piano and the instrumental arrangement and production is just out of this world. Even down to every tympani and cymbal, everything is just right. Love the build up in passion and emotion. You never cease to amaze me. Truly a magnificent composer of beautiful music. And what a performer! (Self Tort, Australia)

(Northpoint) Nothing really surprses me about the beauty within your music.I have listened to many of your songs and they always have that little bit of magic inside them. The gorgeous acoustic and subtle almost toy like piano lines are the beauty here. The pads and pipes add the atmosphere and the bass and drums seem to just allow the song to flow ....there's a lot of work gone into this one I can tell by the amount of different sounds you've put into it.Each chosen to portray a particulair feeling. Its reaaly nice to be listening to something from you that I haven't heard before. As always beautiful! (Emocion, UK)

(Tea for two)
I'm absolutely in love with these harmonies - absolutely Woolfson character ("Light of the World"), but a fresh, new Corrado composition with touching energy. I love the lonely piano chords in the middle of the tune, and then the subtle return of orchestra... so meaningful. Violins, rolling timpanies and magic horns. End part mood reminds me of adored Mr. Oldfield. Deep. Emotional. Personal... Corrado. (Syngularity, Germany)

(Se...) How you bring that piano to life, Corrado. This is so lovely...like the beautiful butterfly stencil. Life is so brief...this piece to me celebrates the beauty of Life that surrounds us all everyday..if we could just remember to take the time to see it. Wonderful composition Corrado. Adding this to my Pinewind station. Bravo!!  (Pinedog, USA)

(Helping Hands)                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             Very emotive, the joy is eveident as is the conviction for the continuity of spirit of those lost. An inevitable sadness and yet a celebration for who they were and how that will carry on. (Aenor1)

Reviews of the whole CD

Corrado Rossi belongs to the modern artists with a true arranger's heart, proving a singular way to perform his keyboards and pianos in a classical manner, without trying to impress with "brickwall mix" thunderstorms... It's just amazing to meet an artist with a classic background who's also a master of modern sound design, and so it was a rare pleasure for me to listen to Corrado's instrumental album... BUTTERFLY - As a neo-classical opener this one is very touching - just a beautiful piano performance which turns into a romantic soundtrack mood, when string sections join. I like this dynamic piece very much, and I really think, Kate Bush would love to sing on this one... ECLIPSE - From neo classic to space night... as I've heard many of your amazing tunes online, I wasn't really surprised about the change of direction. Clever fx design and powerful beat programming, hear some Mark Snow influences. This work is cool, with a touch of adventure. EXOSPHERE - When I listened to those dreamy intro layers it was so easy to imagine to watch the constellations, the milky way. The rhythm part begins with an absolutely wonderfully effected groove, an easy piano motif, which grows to a type of groovy jazz improvisation with beautiful Vangelis-like pads and strings. IRON FORGE - Corrado together with the wonderful musicians of The Wimshurst's Machine... (this track is also included on their album "Time Traveller"). Very atmospheric, laid back, wonderful arrangement with percussive power developed by TWM, and Corrado's bright pianos really shines. The mood of the track reminds me - just a little bit - of "Genesis Ch. 1 V/:32" from Alan Parsons' "I Robot" album. MESSAGE FROM EARTH - This one is definitely a melancholic work of traditional electronica, I can hear a touch of Anne Dudley's way too. Dedicated to the people of the Columbia who were longing to feel the majesty of space... a mission that turned into tragedy. I love the use of radio band frequencies as a message from mankind, still crossing the depths of space when the Earth has become a quiet place. ALDEBARAN - Reminds me of my own passion for astronomy in my childhood, particularly the gently pulsating intro atmosphere. Definitely a compact and dreamy piece of new age music with a strong groove and creative effect work during the tension breaks, keeping the attention. SOUVENIR OF CHINA - This track is NOT identical with Jean Michel Jarre's tune with the same name :) I can hear more 70's Vangelis influences in some synth sounds, a definite Eastern touch in section, blended with Corrado's talents for neo classical play, a marvellous performance on piano again. Just as he would give that musical statement - the world is one. AFTERLIFE - And here's the arrival of Queenie's fantastic and soothing voice with almost medieval expression... besides the beautiful ambient touch I can hear just the original signature of a timeless dream chaser. "Afterlife" is a serious piece of music, NO pop, and I remember the day when I was speechless listening to Dob Russkin for the first time. LE VOYAGE DANSE LA LUNE - Another thoughful piece of "space music", inspired by attempts of men visting other worlds... there's a great soundtrack feeling, much tension on the bass parts, and some sections are very groovy - really good to dance along! I love the astronaut's voices, and the magic of some virtual studio technology Corrado did use here. DOMANI - First and foremost - Corrado dedicated this piece to his song Davide, and so the music has a positive and bright mood... really similar to Vangelis' power on the great "Chariots of Fire", but in my opinion the structure of "Domani" is much more interesting. There are wonderful moments like sunrise, accompanied by touching cello parts. EUROPA - Corrado mentioned the jazz flavour on this one... sounding personal, mixed with soundtrack elements, I particularly like the cool deep bass- as the really good variations, dramatic twists and some pieceful-twilight sections. A musical view of mid-europe in the 20th Century. AUTUMN WIND - A wonderful soundtrack for my favourite season... and its colours of mystery. I like the flutes and the kind of synth wind... and with its catchy main motif this autumn tune would be best choice for chill out radio presence. WHERE YOU ARE - Not really meditative, more hypnotic, an aural delight with beautiful textures and another lovely piano main lines, and - typical Corrado! - developing more and more to a classical electronica work, with beautiful chords and powerful accents just at the right moments, plus soft, enjoyable percussion and a little Steve Winwood touch after 3 minutes. LOW TIDE - The arrival of Augusto Chiarle and Roberto Canone on emotional saxophones, a beautiful soft piece, sensual jazz electronica, giving the sax performances enough space to weave the dream pictures for the listeners, subtly assisted by Corrado's beautiful synth vibes and grooves. NEVER ALONE - A return to a pure neo classical character... Corrado's solo piano shines, as the orchestration does too. This is piece without a groove, just so much heart. A heavenly end title, dedicated to the people in the artist's life... It was really a pleasure for me to hold the beautifully designed boolet in my hands and to read Corrado's statements for each piece, and this album has personality and it's timeless - and the music doesn't cling on the fixed rules purists might expect of new age, ambient, classic, jazz. What you will get are 70 minutes of truly soulful, modern instrumental music with the help of those fine collaborators - Queenie, The Wimshurst's Machine, Augusto Chiarle and Roberto Canone. (Syngularity, Germany)

"Your music has touched my inner soul and brought a continued sense of peace and tranquility into our lives. Your broad eclectic mix has wowed us and we truly appreciate your artistic flair. You have a keen ear for a beautiful mixture that is hard to compare to any other sound heard previously. The CD is absolutely amazing and quite a delight to listen to anytime of the day. Thanks for bringing your gifted talent into a pleasing melody medium for us all to enjoy." (Marco Manzoni, Italy)

Even as often as I have heard my friend Corrado's music, I am amazed at the depth and breadth of this particular collection. Yes, the music demonstrates his incredible technical skills (which I ENVY!), but it also showcases his incredible, unique ability to combine the classic with the contemporary. The result is that his music feels familiar, yet fresh. (I say "feels" because his music WILL touch you on an emotional level.) Corrado's ability to combine the fresh with familiar is a rare gift few artists have or are able to achieve, and it renders his music accessible and appreciable to virtually anyone who has ears. He is a true genius with an enormous talent, and if you purchase this CD, you will have the opportunity to taste just a small slice of his brilliance. Enjoy! (Garymusik, Florida)

I am one of the lucky owners of the fantastic CD of Corrado. In this CD you'll find marvelous ambient with deep chillout, classical and jazzy influences. His touch on piano is marvelous, but his taste for good music creates magical atmospheres where ambient electronics meets classical and jazzy piano, and where mediterranean atmospheres melts with film music, sometimes with the style of Alan Parsons, as also the saxophones of the marvelous Low Tide may distantly recall something of "The Gold Bug" (more contemporary styled and surely totally original). Marvelous the voice of Queenie in Afterlife. He may recall the style of Alan Parsons, Eric Woolfson, Dave Groosin and more. But for most he plays the same music genre with a deep Corrado Rossi's style. My preferred ones: Eclipse, Low Tide, Afterlife and the track who starts the entire album, but I think this work really has not any "album filler": every track is a great track who leaves you impressed, who can makes you feel well. My very compliments: is a great work! :-) (Augusto Chiarle, Italy).

Absolutely beautiful music. Like water flowing downstream, like tears trickling on your cheek when beauty moves you...I wish I could say more, but I am speechless, for words are not match for beautiful music... (Vincenzo Pandolfi, Sidney, Australia)

Dear Corrado,
I had the pleasure to listen to your CD »Corrado Rossi« and I am amzed! It begins with the look and feel of your CD. Seldom have I had a more pleasant view. Wonderful and tasteful appearance. decent colors, these little fine notes on the cover, this fine envelope with the red wax seal, your Initial »R«, the beautiful font types, your black silhouette on a mellow yellow background inside. All that is fine artwork and pure enjoyment for the eye! The touch of the booklet: awesome! Opening the booklet I see it has 8 pages. The Reading of the titles »Butterly«, »Exosphere«, »Alderbaran«, »Afterlife«, »Le Voyage dans la Lune«, »Autum wind« gives me a feeling of something special with an atmosphere. It opens the door to your music. Knowing how long I myself thought about some titles I can feel your efforts rewarded by such wonderful titles. And to every title you give some well measured information in well chosen words. I can only say the CD, the cover and the lyrics are pure enjoyment and they introduce me into you music in such a fine way on so various levels (optical, physical, mental and emotional). That's already a real little piece of fine art! My big compliment, Corrado! Of course the music itself is the main point but I had to mention and describe this exceptional artwork done with such a fine love for detail!
I see that there are 15 titles and more than 70 minutes of music on your CD. That is generous and great! So we can listen to it and enjoy it for more than an hour and appreciatively read the comment to each song in the booklet while listening.
The CD starts with the Neoclassical piece »Butterfly«. I enjoy beautiful piano playing here with a very well sounding natural piano sound. With »Ecclipse« turning to ambient music you lead us into the world of atmospheric sounds. A relaxing piece of music to enjoy. In »Exosphere« I love the great Piano solo! It's oustanding!
The reflective »Message from Earth« has some very beautiful guitar passages and mystic speric signals at the beginning and in the end. The piano playing here is pensive. The »Souvernirs of China« are so airy and contain a very beautiful piano part. We here find the consecutive fiths but also some jazzlike chords.
»Afterlife« is the one song with vocals on it. And these vocals are done very nicely. I also love the vocal harmonisation and the poetical lyrics here. The song is a beautiful dream.
We find beautiful Cello playing in »Domani« and an wonderful piano tone in the somewhat sad »Where You are«.
We listen to a wonderful warm sax tone and sax playing in »Low Tide«, a dreamy and spacey piece of music and finally come to the last piece »Never alone«, which is so soothing, calm, with a good horn section and again as so often a fine natural piano tone. The final piece seems to tell us »All's well that ends well.« And here it all ends so well!
For all the lovers of piano music, piano ballads, for all lovers of fine musical taste I can only urgently recommend this in all aspects fine work.
Corrado, you can be very proud of it. And I am proud to hold your CD in my hands while listening. (Thomas Krug, Germany)

Your music so often bring tears to my eyes (In A Whisper), a smile to my heart (Le Voyage dans la Lune),and a risidual of joy and hope to my life (Spring is Coming). I welcome your musical gift across the miles and am grateful and touched beyond words... (Geri Hahn, USA)

I find all of your music "Top Shelf" everything from your arrangements to the production on your tracks. It's this kind of music that stops me from turning on the radio to listen to commercial music. (Floridamusic, USA)
